Parodying someone who is already a self-parody can be a bit tricky. However, 'Saturday Night Live' and Kenan Thompson nailed their inevitable spoof of Jimmy McMillan, the black-glove-wearing The Rent is Too Damn High Party candidate for New York Governor, who made himself into a star during last week's televised gubernatorial debates.

In a laugh out loud sketch which aired during Weekend Update, we learned that there are twelve days in a week, roofs are edible, and that a home in Queens costs $17 million.

And, of course, that the rent is too damn high.

It remains to be seen if this freak show election cycle will be good for the country, but there is no doubt it's been a boon for politically-oriented comedy.
