Giuliana Rancic and her husband Bill have been trying to conceive a child for more than a year now. But the pair suffered another heartbreaking setback on the latest 'Giuliana & Bill' (Mon., 8PM ET on Style).

In the past, Giuliana has suffered from fertility issues -- she even went on 'The View' to discuss these problems. But she had undergone in vitro fertilization treatments, was finally pregnant with a child -- and after eight weeks, everything was looking good. Still, when Giuliana and Bill went for a routine trip to the the doctor's office, they could instantly tell when things were going wrong.

"We were in the ultrasound room," Giuliana said, "and suddenly the nurse started acting a little weird. ... My heart sank, and I just knew this was not normal." It then fell to Dr. Brian Kaplan to tell her that she had suffered a miscarriage. But first, the couple had to wait an agonizing five minutes to learn the truth.

Giuliana described the experience of living through those moments, as she and Bill huddled in the hushed doctor's office. Though they felt they knew what was coming, Giuliana and her husband just sat there, silently dreading the news. "We were definitely very quiet," she said. "But it was very loud in my head."
