Chris Matthews Reveals Florida Gubernatorial Candidate Alex Sink's Lie on 'Hardball' (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Oct 28th 2010 3:25PM
Earlier this week, Florida gubernatorial candidate Alex Sink was caught checking a smart phone during a commercial break in her debate with Republican Rick Scott. This violated an agreement the candidates had made about not checking any electronic devices during the debate.

On 'Hardball With Chris Matthews' (weeknights, 5PM ET on MSNBC) Wednesday, Matthews asked Sink about the incident, and she offered this explanation.

"What happened was ... the make-up artist held up her phone and said, 'I just got this message. I don't know who it's from.'"

"So I looked at it because, you know, I'm a mom. My instinct is, my daughter's in Europe. I don't know who this message is from, I glance at it, I didn't understand ... what it was, so I just Ignored it."

But, as Matthews revealed on Thursday's show, Sink knew exactly who it was from. CNN boosted the audio from the raw feed, and it revealed that the message was from Brain May, who was actually the worker from Sink's campaign who negotiated the debate's no electronic correspondences rule!

But, hey, if you are going to lie about cheating, you may as well go all out and include a reference to motherhood in your made-up story.

Um did you watch and listen to the same video I did Chris Matthews? Cause from the Tape, it clearly said " I don't know who its from" "IF its from Brian" There was clearly doubt who it was from. Nice try Chris.
