'Talking TV' Podcast: 'Sons of Anarchy,' the British Invasion, 'In Treatment,' 'FNL' and more

by Maureen Ryan, posted Oct 28th 2010 10:45AM
Hey podcast pals, we've only got one installment of 'Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan' for you this week, but it's a supersized edition.

In this week's podcast, Ryan McGee and I talk about a number of programs, and to make it easier to find the sections that interest you, below you can find (rough) indications of where those parts of the conversation begin and end.

The Oct. 27 Ryan & Ryan podcast lineup:

0 - minute 8: 'Caprica's' cancellation

Minute 8 - Minute 14: The name change of Shawn Ryan's mid-sesaon show, from 'Ride-Along' to 'The Chicago Code.'

Minute 14 - Minute 30: Three good new British crime/detective shows, 'Sherlock,' 'Luther' and 'Law & Order: UK.'

Minute 30 - Minute 35: The return of 'In Treatment'.

Minute 35 - Minute 43: The return of 'Friday Night Lights' on DirecTV (there are no spoilers for any season of the show)

Minute 43 - end: 'Sons of Anarchy': The season so far and the varied reactions to it.

A couple of reminders: Next week, Ryan and I are going to answer listener questions. I replied to quite a few questions in this recent post, but we'll take on some that I didn't get to in next week's podcast, and we're also happy to get some additional questions. So if you have any queries, leave them in the comment area below.

And as always, you can subscribe to the podcast on iTunes or if you're not an iTunes fan, you can listen to the podcasts or grab the MP3 files on this site.
