Nick Swardson Loves Chuy on 'Chelsea Lately' and Crystal Meth (VIDEO)

Nick Swardson was a man with a lot of love to give when he appeared on 'Chelsea Lately' (Weeknights, 11PM on E!). After briefly posing with Chelsea Handler herself, he shared a far more meaningful and affectionate embrace with Chuy Bravo.

"You two know each other?" Handler asked. Apparently, in Swardson's world, running into one another at a restaurant is enough to warrant a warm embrace upon your next encounter. He did a good job of driving the point home by resting his hand on Handler's and declaring, "I love him."


Swardson learned the hard way that some people aren't as warm and loving. Nor do they understand irony. When Handler asked him about his t-shirt, which read "Legalize Crystal Meth," he explained how people don't seem to get the humor. Rather than laughing it off, or getting that it's in relation to the movement to legalize marijuana, they tell him, "Not cool!"

Apparently, some people take the shirt literally and believe he's really going for that. Looking at him, though, it's clear that Swardson doesn't do crystal meth. And it's also clear that some people need to relax a little and learn to enjoy a little levity in their lives. Maybe start hugging people just because you've seen them somewhere before.
