'American Idol' Season 10 Is Upon Us: Watch the New Promos Here

'American Idol'Those soft-focus close-ups set to swelling, inspirational music are recognizable anywhere: 'American Idol' season 10 is nigh, and the first promos for the revamped reality series have hit the web.

The two spots -- one 30-second, one 60-second -- both focus on past winners like Kelly Clarkson, Ruben Studdard, Carrie Underwood, David Cook and Lee DeWyze. (Taylor Hicks, Kris Allen, Fantasia Barrino and Jordin Sparks pop up in the second, longer one.)

I won't be watching American Idol this season. The new panel of judges are people I can't stand and Stephen Tyler gives me the creeps!!!

With the crooked voting (Lambert LOST??!?!?? Bullhockey.) and the loss of Simon and Kara, the only way to save AI was to get decent judges in there and change the way voting was done.

Charge $1 per vote - all to charity.

Then we wouldn't have an arena full of people with an AT&T rep teaching them how to speed-dial votes for Kris Allen in because AT&T and Fox couldn't stand seeing Adam actually win.

I won't be watching American Idol anymore - and I bet a lot of others will also stop watching for various reasons.
