'Teach: Tony Danza' -- Who's Teaching Who?Actor Tony Danza has had an up-and-down time as a teacher on the premiere season of 'Teach' (Fri., 10PM ET on AETV). So far he's cried, sweated bullets, even tap-danced to try to keep his students' attention. Danza is a rookie teacher at a tough inner-city school in Philadelphia; he's doing the best that he can.

Still, you could argue that the name of the show is ironic -- or at least is a double entendre ... since if you read it in a certain way, it contains a command. 'Teach: Tony Danza!' So is Tony actually teaching his students, or are they teaching him?

On the new episode, it seems like both sides might be learning. Tony confronts some young men who are cutting class and getting in trouble at the school. Angelo, one of the students, brags that he hasn't be to class in two months. "I don't know what class is!" he says. Tony talks to the teen about his lack of responsibility, so Angelo shares his own story -- which involves being thrown in jail during the time of his mother's death.

Danza learns more about the teen's inner life, though he was already aware of Angelo's sad tale. He tells the student that success is a "choice," and adds this: "If [I] can do it, you can do it." Both Tony and his student seem calmer and more at peace after sharing with one another. Both have a deeper understanding of the other person's position. So ... who is teaching who?
