Cee-Lo Performs Revised 'F--- You' on 'Colbert Report'Cee-Lo Green was forced to revise his popular 'F**k You' single when he appeared on 'The Colbert Report' (weeknights, 11:30PM ET on COM). "As this is a family show, we can't be dropping the F-bomb here," explained Stephen Colbert (who then used the word seconds later). He suggested "something positive" to replace the phrase. How about "Fox News"?

Green humored Colbert with his revamped edition, singing, "Saw you driving 'round town with the girl I love on Fox News / Didn't see one politician that wasn't corrupt on the Fox News, and I got the blues..."

You hear a man like that sing like he does, and you worry about his name being "ghetto?" The hell is wrong with you? I'm a proud metalhead, and Cee-Lo still rocks.

Why did Cee-Lo have to choose a curse word song
like F U to start his career in the music business?
I don't know. This song could've been the perfect
remake of The O-Jays'"Love Train", especially with
their 50'th Anniversary coming up, if he would've
just thrown away his lyrics, and turned it iuto that.
How the censors let the video pass on VH1 Soul & BET,
I have absolutely no idea, so I hope this song loses
big time at the American Music Awards and Grammies,
because Cee-Lo deserves everything coming to him
and more for practically ruining this 70's classic.
