EXCLUSIVE: Details About Amy Sedaris' Guest Spot on 'Raising Hope' (VIDEO)

Amy Sedaris is one of those rare women who can light up a room and make you laugh out loud, even when she's playing a completely horrible character.

Best known as Jerri Blank, the middle-aged ex-junkie in her so-wrong-it's-hysterical 'Strangers With Candy,' Sedaris has popped up on some very fun TV shows recently, including 'The Middle,' 'The Closer' and an upcoming stint on 'Royal Pains.'

Next stop: 'Raising Hope,' Fox's freshman hit sitcom (Tuesdays, 9PM ET).

Star Garret Dillahunt spilled the top-secret news to The Hollywood Reporter this weekend, saying that Sedaris "is coming in December to do the show." But the only detail he shared about her role is that his character, Burt, would be making out with her.

Wait, what? We visited the set to get a little more background on this new mystery lady in Burt's life from the boss man himself, Greg Garcia, and Dillahunt's on-screen wife, Virginia, played by Martha Plimpton. Seems like Virginia's got some close ties and a little history with Sedaris' character, too.

Just the word "nemesis" gives us happy chills that this will be another awesome role.
