Mario Lopez Nearly Misses Birth of New Baby Daughter (VIDEO)

According to Mario Lopez, he was working in Las Vegas when girlfriend Courtney Laine Mazza went into labor, and he nearly missed the birth of his daughter Gia Francesca. A frantic trip back to California got him there with only minutes to spare, he said on 'The Wendy Williams Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

"So we all went, like a movie, ran to the airport. It was like, 'Hold that plane! Hold the gate!'" said Lopez. "She had to have an emergency C-section ... So, then, I'm running to the hospital and I get there, change into scrubs, walk into the room, 20 minutes later, bam! I have a daughter."

Mario may not be willing to marry her, but he sure is controlling!!! He didn't allow her to find out the sex of the baby, wasn't going to allow the baby to be circumcised. I saw the majority of one episode of "Matio Lopez: Saved by the Baby" & was NOT impressed with his pushy, bossy, controlling personality!!
BTW, having kids out of wedlock may be acceptable to some (lowclass) parts of society, but it shouldn't be! If you can't be committed enough to get married & raise a child as husband & wife, the way all the studies show is the very best for children, then be responsible & use birth control!!! People who don't get married remind me of this: "But if I marry my baby Daddy, I won't get no mo' welfare check & my food stamps will be lower". How tacky.

If you can make a baby you can make a comittment. And no, babies before wedding is still not acceptable in our society.I have no respect for Jolie-Pitt family no matter how many kids she has or adopts.

What's the deal? It seems that the people with no class or standards have babies without getting married. Mario, I thought good Catholics didn't do that.

this isn't the 1950's, there is no shame to having a baby out of wedlock, more and more people are together for years and years without being married...as long as the baby is healthy and well taken care of and both parents are happy what does it matter? And honestly, if i do recall the catholic church has been under fire for years now with crimes and a lot of things that i consider people with "no class or standards" would do....
