Attention, Ryan Murphy: You might want to listen to Anne Hathaway's pitch for a guest role on 'Glee.'

Not only did the actress tell the St. Louis Fox affiliate that she wants to appear on Murphy's hit show, she already has a character and musical number in mind.

"I would want to be Kurt's aunt," Hathaway said during the press junket for her new movie, 'Love and Other Drugs." "I have thought about it! ... I would like to pitch to Ryan Murphy right now that I go on as Kurt's aunt, his mother who is deceased's younger sister."

She's already got the musical number covered: "I would sing something from 'Into the Woods.'"

Also interested in a 'Glee' guest spot is none other than Cher, who said she was interested while promoting her new film, 'Burlesque.' "Obviously it's a great show because everybody watches it, so yeah. I'd have to look at it and see if I felt that I could fit in."

Her costar, Christina Aguilera, wasn't so sure, though -- she doesn't watch the show.

That said, Hathaway would be a great guest star. We already know she can sing -- she's done so in various movies and at the Oscars with Hugh Jackman -- and her character pitch would be great. I'm always excited to delve into Kurt's back story. Plus, I'm not sure there's a more likable actress working nowadays than Hathaway, who's hosting 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend.
