Bill Nye the Science Guy Faints During a Lecture, Feels Like Lady Gaga

by Jean Bentley, posted Nov 17th 2010 6:00PM
Bill NyeBill Nye the Science Guy and Lady Gaga have more in common than you'd think.

According to the Los Angeles Times, the scientist fainted Tuesday night while giving a lecture about global warming at USC. "What happened? How long was I out?" Nye asked the crowd when he regained consciousness. "Wow, that was crazy. I feel like Lady Gaga or something."

Much like the singer, who nearly passed out during a concert in New Zealand earlier this year, Nye carried on. Instead of cutting his talk short, Nye finished his discussion while sitting down.

"He kept trying to finish his speech though it was clear he was really woozy, and he did finish from a chair," said sophomore Pierre Tasci. "What a trouper."

Senior Alastair Fairbanks said he was alarmed when Nye fell, since no one immediately came to his aid. "Instead, I saw students texting and updating their Twitter statuses," he said. "It was just all a very bizarre evening."

Nye's PBS series, 'Bill Nye the Science Guy,' ran from 1993 to 1997.

Hard to believe there are so many who continue to follow the "global warming" religion, even after the "science" behind it has been shown to be a hoax!

Big surprise from the self centered students of USC. Instead of helping the guy, they text their friends about the spectacle.

Because it happened in real life. They're retards. If it happened during a video game they would have pounced on it like a puma going after a baby gazelle.

The anxiety of lying will make a person light headed.

If there's ever an attack on us with a nuclear bomb, there will be an entire population of ghostly images burned into the concrete, all of them with cellphones in their ashy little dead hands, as they text their demise.
