According to Christina Aguilera, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame and attending the premiere of her new movie 'Burlesque' have been welcome distractions from her split with husband Jordan Bratman. But, focusing on son Max has helped the most during the trying time, she said on 'The Ellen DeGeneres Show' (weekdays, syndicated).

"My focus first and foremost is on my son Max," Aguilera said. "He's the love of my life and I adore him. And he's such a character and he's so happy. And, at the end of the day, that's what's most important."

Aguilera added that, while Max is aware of Aguilera's chosen profession, he has difficulty distinguishing mommy from other singers. "He thinks everybody is his mommy that hits a high note," she said, pointing out that Max heard Alicia Keys singing on 'Empire State of Mind' and assumed his mother was responsible for the vocals.
