Sarah Palin Says No to Another TV Interview With Katie Couric
Now that she's raised the possibility of a presidential run in 2012, Sarah Palin's been looking back on her previous run in 2008 and that TV interview with Katie Couric.
Asked by Sean Hannity on his Fox show Monday night whether she would sit down for a second interview with the CBS News anchor, Palin said no way. "As for doing an interview ... with a reporter who already has such a bias against whatever it is that I would come out and say? Why waste my time? No."
She did say, however, that she'd grant interviews to some journalists:"I will speak to reporters who still understand that cornerstone of our democracy, that expectation that the public has for truth to be reported. And then we get to decide our own opinion based on the facts reported to us."
But is the former Governor eyeing another career change perhaps? Saying that she wated to "help clean up the state that is so sorry today of journalism," Palin mentioned that she has "a communications degree. I studied journalism, who, what, where, when, and why of reporting."
Palin's controversial 2008 interview with Katie Couric became a viral hit online, as was the 'Saturday Night Live' spoof version with Tina Fey playing Palin.
