This just in: A news anchor on a major network could soon expand her repertoire to scripted television.

If all goes according to the 'Glee' producers' plan, CBS Evening News anchor Katie Couric could suit up for an appearance during the Fox show's much-hyped post-Super Bowl episode. According to Deadline Hollywood, Couric is "in talks" to cameo in the Feb. 6 episode.

The appearance would reportedly feature Couric in a scene with Jane Lynch. One of the episode's plots involves the Cheerios competing in their regional cheerleading championships.

In other 'Glee' news, full versions of three of the tunes from next week's episode, which features New Directions facing off against the Dalton Academy Warblers at sectionals, have leaked. Below, listen to full versions of the Santana solo 'Valerie' and the Sam and Quin duet '(I've Had) the Time of My Life,' and watch the Warblers take on Train's 'Hey Soul Sister.'
