Jim, who is dying, suspects his best friend Teddy killed his daughter. But he needs Dr. Cal Lightman's expertise to confirm it on 'Lie to Me' (Mon., 9PM ET on FOX).

Teddy walks in to find Jim practically comatose. Only machines are keeping him alive. Ria (in disguise) tells him, "You have power of attorney. The doctors need to know if you want to keep him this way or..."

Teddy takes the pen and documents, and he hears: "Just picking up that pen was an act of betrayal." Cal's been watching him. Teddy says, "It's what Jim wanted ... He told us to just let him go."

"I've heard enough!" says Jim, peeling off his tubes and rising from the bed. "You just gonna throw my life away? Is that what you did to Kira? All the family I had left!?"
