Rachel Maddow Implores Her Audience Not to Eat Cocktail Garnish (VIDEO)

Apparently a bunch of bees in Brooklyn have turned red after feeding from the waste at a local maraschino cherry factory. On 'The Rachel Maddow Show' (weekdays, 9PM ET on MSNBC), Maddow used this odd tale to warn her viewers that cocktail garnish shouldn't be consumed by humans either.

"Cocktail garnish is not meant to be a tiny wet meal, served conveniently inside your drink glass. Cocktail garnish is there to visually amuse you, and/or to augment the taste or smell of your drink," Maddow explained, before demonstrating how one applies a citrus twist to a cocktail.

While Maddow is correct in stating that nothing good will come out of eating cocktail garnish, anyone who's ever come face-to-face with a maraschino cherry after a long bout of drinking on an empty stomach can confirm that they are darn near impossible to resist.
