On 'The Whole Truth' (Wed., 10PM ET on ABC), Kathryn's mom has been pestering her about her love life. So she lies, telling Bernadette she has a boyfriend. Still, her mother is skeptical when Kathryn refuses to go into detail.

Just after she says, "There is no boyfriend, is there?" Kathryn's courtroom nemesis slides into the seat beside her and gives her a peck on the cheek. Jimmy says, "Bernadette, I'm sorry. We should've told you but Katy and I have tried to keep it quiet, given our job and all."

Kathryn pulls him aside and asks what he's doing. "Trying to make your mom a little less worried about you -- is that so bad?" He then takes the act a step further, kissing her on the lips and draping his arms around her. The verdict is in: Mom is convinced.
