Halle Berry Tells 'GMA' She is 'Scared to Death' of Broadway Debut (VIDEO)

Halle Berry has acted in everything from soap operas to super-hero movies, and won an Oscar in 2002 for 'Monster's Ball.' It seems like there wouldn't be much that could frighten her professionally, but she did mention one thing on 'Good Morning America' (Weekdays, 7AM on ABC) today -- acting on Broadway. Berry will make her Broadway debut opposite Samuel L. Jackson in a play called 'The Mountaintop' next year. There are only two characters -- Jackson plays Martin Luther King, Jr., and Berry plays his maid. The play takes place on the day King was killed.
It's not the lightest project for your welcome to the big stage, but Berry welcomes the challenge. "It must mean it's what I'm supposed to do next if it scares me to death," she says.
Then again, she might be ready to do something a little more serious after filming 'The Skank Robbers' with Jamie Foxx. That will probably be scarier for us than her.
