'Skating With the Stars' Season 1 cast['Skating With the Stars' - 'Season 1, Episode 3']

There was literally blood on the ice this week on 'Skating With the Stars,' as Olympian Jonny Moseley accidentally cut his partner, Brooke Castile, with his skates.

She carried on, bandaged and stitched, but hers wasn't the only injury: Two contestants also made a trip to the emergency room. One was able to skate and got raves from the judges, the another was MIA and had to be judged on their last rehearsal.

Read on to see who was injured, who went home, and who's still skating.

The two celebrities tied for last place this week: Vince Neil and Bethenny Frankel. Both showed improvement, but it was rock star Vince whose shaky skating run was over despite a trip to skating school.

Performances:

Rebecca Budig and Fred Palascak
Rebecca fell and injured her wrist during practice, which necessitated a trip to the ER. She was advised to ice it and rest, but her performance, which featured several tricky lifts and partner-assisted twirls, seemed completely unaffected by her injury. "That was wonderful," gushed Johnny Weir. "You're the most natural skater that we have, it was beautiful." Dick Button called her lifts "sensational" and praised for her "channeling Dorothy Hamill." Laurie Ann loved how much she trusted her partner and said, "Great job."

Technical score: 25 (9, 8, 8)
Artistic score: 25 (9, 8, 8)

Bethenny Frankel and Ethan Burgess
Bethenny did not take kindly to being told by Laurie Ann last week that she was "stiff," and threatened to "slap her upside her head." She decided to try a toe loop for her technical requirement, which we're told, is one of the more difficult jumps to master. Dick told her, "You trust your partner but you're not trusting yourself." Laurie Ann praised her song choice (Beyoncé's 'Halo') and said, "that was heavenly, it was angelic." Weir noted that she's making progress and added, "we're here to help you, not hate you."

Technical score: 17 (6, 6, 5)
Artistic score: 19 (7, 6, 6)

Vince Neil and Jennifer Wester
After being told to work on his basic skills, Jennifer took Vince to skating school, whose young students advised him "bend your knees!" He made it through his routine without falling (despite having hurt his back during practice) but still looked uncomfortable on the ice. "Mr. Vince, I wanted to come out there and skate with you," said Laurie Ann, who again praised his "showmanship." Johnny said he was "so much better," but told him to avoid "ugly stuff," like "claw hand." Dick proclaimed himself the "TSA of figure skating" and can see the talent in Vince, which apparently, takes X-ray vision to spot.

Technical score: 16 (6, 5, 5)
Artistic score: 20 (7, 6, 7)

Jonny Moseley and Brooke Castile
"It's cut all the way through, to the bone," Brooke told us of her scary skating-blade injury. But she gamely got stitches and took to the ice. Jonny had three serious falls and never finished his routine during practice. The pair looked fluid, and Jonny -- who's usually all smiles -- successfully managed to convey the theme of forbidden love. "That was insanely beautiful," sighed Johnny. "You improve every week and that's something that none of the other skaters do." Dick praised the "improved expressiveness of his arms" but wanted him to improve his posture from a "question mark" to an "exclamation point." Laurie Ann called it "romantic, emotional, vulnerable ... I didn't know you had it in you."

Technical score: 24 (8, 9, 7)
Artistic score: 27 (9, 9, 9)

Brandon Mychal Smith and Keauna McLaughlin
Brandon was rushed to the hospital with an undisclosed injury and was unable to compete this week. The judges used the footage of his last full rehearsal to judge his performance. Dick called what he saw "smooth," but missed the live performance energy. Laurie Ann was impressed with the pair's connection. Johnny hoped Brandon would be okay and back next week, but pointed out that he's disregarded doctor's orders not to skate in the past, and that his scores will reflect that Brandon didn't do the same. What a meanie! "What you saw on the tape was nothing compared to what we can do," Keauna told commentator Tanith Belbin.

Technical score: 18 (8, 5, 5)
Artistic score: 21 (9, 6, 6)

Tanith took the ice (with partner Ben Agosto) to prove she's more than just a TV host, but also one half of "the most decorated ice dancing team in US history."

This week's leaderboard:

Jonny & Brooke: 51
Rebecca & Fred: 50
Brandon & Keauna: 39
Bethenny & Ethan: 36
Vince & Jennifer: 36

'Skating With the Stars' airs Mondays, 8PM ET on ABC.
