Snooki Will Drop Inside a Ball on New Year's Eve

SnookiAnyone planning to ring in the new year in Times Square this year will have two countdowns to keep an eye on. In addition to the traditional ball drop, MTV will host one of its own -- with a twist. 'Jersey Shore' star Nicole "Snooki" Polizzi will be holed up inside the ball, the AP reports.

Yep, you read that right -- Snooki will drop inside a ball on MTV's New Year's Eve special.

In addition, the network will host a mass fist-pumping event with the rest of the 'Jersey Shore' cast members in an attempt to break a Guinness World Record.

Also dropping by the MTV studios for New Year's Eve: comedian Whitney Cummings, who will host the special, and Flo Rida, who will perform.

'MTV New Year's Bash' airs at 11PM ET on Dec. 31.

Sorry MTV, that is a show I won't be watching. I can't see how watching that girl would be any fun. I will surely remove MTV from my list this year.
