Mark Wahlberg Doesn't Think Much About His Past, But Wants to Inspire Kids Who Grew Up Like Him (VIDEO)

Mark Wahlberg stays humble on 'Good Morning America'Mark Wahlberg has been a juvenile delinquent, underwear model, leader of the Funky Bunch, actor and producer, but today told 'Good Morning America' (Weekdays, 7AM on ABC) that he doesn't spend much time looking back on the past.

Wahlberg, out promoting 'The Fighter,' which opens tomorrow, is happy for his success, but wants to stay focused on the work. "I'm always figuring out, how do I maintain it and how to I go to the next level," he said. "That's why I start my day, every day, unless I'm on 'Good Morning America,' right after I wake up, getting on my hands and my knees and thanking god and asking for the strength to do the right thing."

Wahlberg also mentioned he was happy to have inspired kids who grew up in situations similar to his growing up to reach for something more. "If I can do it, they can do it," he said. "Nothing is impossible."

Wahlberg should think and think hard about his past. He is not just a juvenile delinquent but a racist and a cold blooded murderer: he had clubed an innocent bystandard to death, serving only 6 months because of his connection. If he does not think much about his past, how is he going to teach and be a role-model to kids, his own included, as he continues to pretend himself to be? Making money and finding sudden fame are not necessarily considered a success in life; a man with dark sides needs to do some serious self-reflecting and make genuine changes in his heart. Just because he has a full-head of hair that led to a lucky break in life does not mean he had "made it". Or, should we consider Wahlberg a socio/psychopath as he has never shown signs or utter a word that are remotely close to regrets or being remorseful over his murderous past.
