As we all know, each episode of 'The Apprentice' ends with the dreaded words "You're fired!" from Donald Trump. But once every season, we get to mix it up, as the most promising candidate is actually ... hired.

Tonight's finale (Thu., 8PM ET on NBC) came down to a choice between Brandy Kuentzel and Clint Robertson, the two survivors out of the sixteen original contestants. Clint and Brandy sat nervously in the wood-paneled boardroom, as "The Donald" glared down at them from his high-backed chair. The pair made their final pitches, and then Trump made his final pronouncement.

And the winner of 'The Apprentice' Season 10 was --

Brandy! " ... Clint, you're fired," Trump said, as Clint slumped his head in disappointment. "Brandy -- congratulations. I look forward to having you as the Apprentice." Outside the boardroom, Brandy received hugs and cheers from her fellow competitors. They raised their glasses to toast her victory -- as the tenth season came to an end. Congrats, Brandy!


It may have been a very final finale, in a way. During an interview given this week, Donald Trump said this was "probably" the last season that will ever be done in the show's original style, featuring ordinary contestants. Starting next season, the show will permanently switch over to the "Celebrity Apprentice" format.
