The rumors were true: Disney star Brandon Mychal Smith left 'Skating With the Stars' after a nasty bout with food poisoning prevented him from performing last week. Tough judge Johnny Weir thought Smith should have skated despite being taken to the hospital by ambulance.

Last night, Smith officially bowed out, saying he was still too weak to continue.

That leaves ski champ Jonny Moseley, soap star Rebecca Budig and reality princess Bethenny Frankel to skate in next week's finale. This week, they were asked to add some dangerous thrills and throws to the mix. For those of you tuning in only for the wipe-outs, sorry, there weren't any.

There was, however, lots of bitchiness as Weir and Bethenny's feud got nasty. She's made no secret she hates the judges' critiques, so Weir told her, "To me, it's very clear you don't care what we think and I don't really care to watch you perform anymore because you aren't listening to our critiques." Meow!

He did, however, give her decent scores -- and a few "we don't care" snaps when host Vernon Kay commented, "Johnny Weir, you are fierce!"

Bethenny Frankel and Ethan Burgess
Post-performance, Bethenny insisted she wasn't "frustrated," but was having fun. "It's all kind of idiotic," she said, either referring to the feud with her and Weir, or the whole skating thing itself. "I'm having the best time," she said. "I gave it everything I had." She successfully pulled off the "death spiral," thanks to the coaching of hottie skating pro John Zimmerman, but her scores remained on par with last week.

Technical score: 18 (6, 6, 6)
Artistic score: 20 (7, 6, 7)

Jonny Moseley and Brooke Castile
Zimmerman showed Jonny how to throw but not hurt Brooke. "Too much!" Zimmerman told him after he sent Brooke sprawling in rehearsal. "You want to be like him, he's a badass, he's a stud," gushed Jonny, prompting Brooke to comment, "Why don't you marry him? Geez." Their routine was a little rocky, but earned them their highest scores yet. "I would want you to lift me," Laurie Anne Gibson purred, although she urged him to get more "finesse."

Technical score: 27 (9, 9, 9)
Artistic score: 27 (9, 9, 9)

Rebecca Budig and Fred Palascak
Rebecca wasn't sure she could trust her partner for the lifts after a bad spill last week but Zimmerman convinced her Fred wouldn't drop her. And he didn't, even during a spin supported by just one hand. We'd have some trust issues, too! Weir liked the strength of their partnering, but wanted to see more solo work from Rebecca.

Technical score: 26 (9, 8, 9)
Artistic score: 27 (9, 9, 9)

This week's leaderboard:

Jonny & Brooke: 54
Rebecca & Fred: 53
Bethenny & Ethan: 38

The 'Skating With the Stars' finale airs Monday, 8PM ET on ABC.
