A Shocking Result on 'Skating With the Stars': The Crowd Boos As the Finalists Are Revealed (VIDEO)

A Shocking Result on 'Skating With the Stars': The Crowd Boos, As the Finalists Are Revealed"Are you shocked?" said host Vernon Kay. But it was a rhetorical question. Everyone was shocked. It was the most controversial 'Skating With the Stars' ever. And it brought back memories of the Bristol Palin vs. Brandy debate on 'DWTS' -- as once again, the contestant with the lowest scores made it to the finals.

On the new episode (Mon., 8PM ET on ABC), three stars -- Bethenny Frankel, Jonny Moseley, and Rebecca Budig -- competed for two spots in the finale. Rebecca had the highest total score, meaning the choice was between Bethenny and Jonny. But it didn't seem like much of a choice. Frankel had the lowest previous scores, the lowest total score, and she got the lowest scores for the night in every single event.

But then, the votes came in: "The couple leaving right now is ... Jonny and Brooke." The audience reacted with boos and groans. Jonny bowed his head in resignation, or annoyance. Even Bethenny looked stunned.

The reality star had beaten the Olympic skier, because the votes from the viewers at home completely negated the judges' scores. As Jonny left the show, he replied graciously as Vernon Kay asked for his reaction. Moseley first said he wasn't shocked, then grinned ruefully and corrected himself: "I guess I was a little surprised, yeah."

Tonight's finale will pit high-scorer Rebecca against lowest-scoring Bethenny. What do you think of the controversial result? Should Frankel be in the finals? And do you think the viewers will pick her as the winner, no matter what?

I quit watching after Bethenney Frankl wasn't eliminated on the second elimination. Can't stand her. She has an ugly square face and her personality sucks to boot. These shows are always fixed.

When the author wrote this title(A Shocking Result), I don't think they meant that it was shocking because of who won. What they meant was that it is shocking that the audience would "boo" the contestants. The comments on here and that audience show that this country is full of ill mannered, disrespectful people who have nothing more fulfilling in their lives than a reality show.

This show was the worst crap yet. Just horrendous. That jerky host also got it wrong saying it was the first ever Skating w/ the Stars. They had one before this and I thought that one was bad. Jillian Barbery won. She was a skater before. Give it up!!!!

Blettheny is the ultimate MEDIA WHORE. Since her show and Housewives isn't on she has to be seen no matter what. When they show he crying and whining at rehearsal that she hasn't gotten any sleep or when she was crying about how she missed her husband and baby, I wanted to punch her puppet face. Who tells her to leave a 6 month old baby?!

Her fame is more important. That was a way to illicit sympathy. She's always "poor me" When she was the single one, she would feel sorry for herself being alone, now it's that she's "so busy" that she's exhausted. I have no respect for her and I wish she was voted off before Vince Neil. It's sad how many idiots drink the Blettheny kool-aid and voted to keep this annoying, self-centered, fame monster on the air. I feel sorry for her partner.

Another thing, that host Vernon Kaye sucks! Where did they find him?

These shows have run their course. To make them legit, have the judges separate the good from the bad, then, let the audience vote. Watched "Sing Off" and there were 10 very talented groups, but, the judges eventually pared it down to 4 groups, then and only then the audience was allowed to vote.

This "competition" was staged from the beginning. ABC daytime needs a boost of any kind as ratings are sagging badly. Budig is one of Brian Frons'(President, ABC Daytime)little pets so I understand why JM was voted off. They couldn't risk Budig getting beat.

IT WAS UTTERLY RIDICULOUS THAT BETHANNY IS STILL THERE! ITS "ONLY" BECAUSE OBVIOUSLY SHE HAS MORE FANS...THIS VOTING SYSTEM SUCKS! BECAUSE PEOPLE WIN BY FANS NOT THEIR TALENT!
REBECCA HAS BEEN THE ULTIMATE BEST SINCE DAY ONE (EXCEPT WHATS HIS NAME THAT GOT TO SICK TO RETURN HE WAS REALLY GOOD) BUT IM FAV HAS ALWAYS BEEN REBECCA (GREENLEE) IVE BEEN WATCHING ALL MY CHILDREN SINCE DAY ONE ALMOST 40 YRS AGO! BEEN WATCHING HER ON IT SINCE SHE CAME ON IT...SOOO IVE BEEN PREJUDICED LOL...BUT SHE REALLY IS GOOD
PEOPLE BETTER JUST HAVE IN THEIR EAR PLUGS IF....BETHANNY...WINS OVER REBECCA!!!!!!!!! JUST CUZ MORE WATCHED HOUSEWIVES THEN ALL MY CHILDREN GRRRRRRR
MY BLOOD IS BOILING ALREADY THINKING OF IT LOL BUT REALLY "NOT" LOLING!!!
BETHANNY IS SOOO FAKE SOOO FULL OF HERSELF...I LIKED HER ON HOUSEWIVES BUT THEN SHE MET HER HUSBAND AND SHE WENT WAAAY DOWNHILL...PERSONALITY WISE!!!! AND SHE LOOKS LIKE A SKELATON!

To AD, furthermore I do not judge Bristol Palin for having her baby. I applaud her for having the courage to do that and staying the course when it appears the father is a deadbeat. She is fortunate to have her mother's resources and finances to raise her child without deprivation. Unfortunately there are many young women who don't have that kind of family and financial support. Bristol may be guilty of naivete and misplaced love, but that's been going on for thousands of years. I hope as she matures, she'll find her own way and not have to ride the coattails of her mother's celebrity. And no, I do not hate Sarah Palin. I'm just making a statement that the children of celebrities often times struggle to find their own identity. I think Bristol may have done the show to break out of her shyness and to show the world she wasn't a shrinking violet just because she was in love with a CAD. Her forum is just larger than the average person. She would be unknown, just another small town girl who got pregnant if her mother wasn't on Center Stage in the media. The only reason she was on Dancing with the Stars was because of her mother's celebrity. Can't disagree with that.

Totally disappointed! Made me wish I hadn't even watched the show ... certainly isn't about talent anymore. People are just not thinking when they are voting they are making a joke about the whole darn thing. Sad!

I was really stunned and disappointed. I just finished watching the finale and at least the team that should win did.
