Discovering How Much Work It Takes to Be Perfect 10s on 'Perfect Couples' (VIDEO)

Christine Woods & Kyle Bornheimer, 'Perfect Couples'There comes a time in any relationship when both parties get comfortable. In the early days, she spends a lot of time on hair and makeup and picking out her cutest oufit, while he's bothering to shave and even making sure his shirts are free of wrinkles. But being perfect 10s is exhausting, and once you've scored true love, most of us don't really bother much with it any more.

On NBC's sneak preview of their forthcoming new Thursday night sitcom 'Perfect Couples' (Mon., 10PM on NBC), one of the three spotlighted couples realized their 10s potential, but also discovered it has its limits.

"It is really hard being a ten," Dave (Kyle Bornheimer) admits.

"I'll race you to a four," Julia (Christine Woods) countered.

But Dave wanted to make sure this was what they wanted to do. "We did kind of fall into a rut before," he admitted.

"But now we know we can be tens whenever we want," she replied. It's a valid point and actually not a bad thing for other couples to consider. The pair vowed to "be tens" once a month.

Of course, as with New Year's resolutions the likelihood of that continuing is pretty slim, but we like their "10s on 10s" proposal, whereas couples will get all dressed up and make that "first date" effort every month on the tenth to prove to themselves they've still got it, and remind one another that they still care as much now as they did then.
