Larry King Serenades 'Early Show' Anchor, Dedicates Song to Her 'Beautiful Brown Eyes' (VIDEO)

by Donald Deane, posted Dec 21st 2010 11:30AM
Of all the things 'Early Show' (weekdays, 7AM ET on CBS) anchor Erica Hill wants for Christmas, we're willing to bet a serenade from Larry King isn't one of them. And yet, King regaled Hill with a song dedicated to her "beautiful brown eyes" during an exclusive interview.

King argues that broadcasting as a business is not normal, and neither are those in it. To illustrate that point, he tells Hill that he's thinking of her eyes. Then, he starts to sing, "Beautiful, beautiful brown eyes. I'll never love blue eyes again." Uh, okaaaay.

King should be kissing his own lucky ass for getting paid what he did for doing nothing. He must have had incriminating photos of some of the CNN execs to have been let loose on the air.

"Iconic TV host"- what a horrible characterization of a no-talent who you are absolutely right about- his rating were horrible, and that probably is the reason for his "retirement". I cannot remember one interview that softballer ever did where I said to myself "that was a great group of questions, and interview by Larry". Believe it or not, one of the best interviewers today is Howard Stern. His recent interview of Billy Joel was nothing short of incredible. His 2005 interview of McCartney was damn good, too.
