Chris Matthews Uses Scene From 'Love Actually' to Demonstrate How 'Prickish' the GOP Is (VIDEO)

by Jeremy Taylor, posted Dec 22nd 2010 4:20PM
After reading a quote from Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell, in which he vowed to only negotiate with Barack Obama "if the president is willing to do what we think is in the best interest of the American people," Chris Matthews used a tactic generally reserved for Glenn Beck and played his 'Hardball With Chris Matthews' (weekdays 5PM ET on MSNBC) audience a movie clip.

"I've seen (this) about a million times," Matthews exaggerated, before playing the scene from 'Love Actually' in which the U.S. president, played by Billy Bob Thornton, tells the British prime minister, played by Hugh Grant, "I'll give you anything you ask for, as long as it's not something I don't want to give."

"Well that prickish comment from him is exactly seeming what the Republican strategy is," Matthews argued.

If Matthews thought that was prickish, he should check out Thornton in 'Mr. Woodcock.'

How can anybody who is misinformed on a daily basis by the Fox "scare white people to deasth" news network call anybody retarded, stupid and a loser? You people are the ones who are losers if you believe anything you hear on Fox news.

Chris Matthews is useless. More people read this blog during the last hour than watched his crappy show last week. Typical for CNN.

Y'all ain't afraid of showing your political bias are you? Mathews should go back to his homo-erotic "leg tingling".....as should the writer of this article.

Marxism argues that capitalism has created a major class conflict and dived humankind into two classes.
The bourgeoisie, or rich, ruling class, and the proletariat, the working class.
This argument comes primarily from Vladimir Lenin.
Marxism also argues the dependency theory. It is defined as " a theory hypothesizing that less developed countries are exploited because global capitalism makes them dependent on the rich countries that create exploitative rules for trade and production."
More recently the two theories have bashed heads in explaining the Iraq war. Liberalism argues that it is done to bring democracy to the country and peace to our own country, while Marxism argues that it was done for oil and corporate means that are more elusive to the public eye......Doesn't all this sound just like the typical Obama supporter?

Most of the "Liberals" leaving comments in here are Marxists and therefore follow Vladimir Lenins ideology. If you don't know the atrocities he commited you'll have to find that yourself.

I recently had MSNBC on to watch a prison show, and fell asleep. When I woke up, this blathering idiot, literally drooling on himself was on. It was Chris Mathews!! I'd never seen him before..this guy is definitely a couple french fries short of a happy meal!! I guess MSNBC keeps him on for comic value..what an insult to humanity!

Chris matthews, Keith Olbermann and Rachel Madow are all losers. They caused Air America to fail and now MSNBC has no listners. What's new? Losers all and 2012 will bring the end to the liberal agenda and a return to traditional American values!

What sickens me about the GOP is that they block important bills like the START (loose nukes round up) and help for the 9/11 First Responders which hurts ALL OF US. These things should be above politics but the GOP is all about trying to get themselves back in power not about helping our country. Never forget that.
