Reese Witherspoon Loves Animals, But She Refuses to Milk Goats (VIDEO)

Reese Witherspoon is a Hollywood star, but she remains a Southern girl at heart -- the actress grew up in Tennessee. In honor of her roots, she has a farm in California, where she spends time with her two kids.On 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), Reese started off talking about her farm animals, but then, things got weird ... The actress told Chelsea Handler that she owns chickens, donkeys, pigs -- and also two goats, who are named 'George and Martha Washington,' because Reese's daughter was studying American history at the time.
Unfortunately, Chelsea is from New Jersey, and therefore is not a country girl. So Ms. Handler then asked a bizarre question. "Do you ever milk these animals?" she said. " ... Milk them?" Reese replied, before cracking up.
Reese was quasi-startled -- after all, you can't actually "milk" chickens or pigs. (You might be able to milk donkeys; we're not sure. But that sounds really gross, and we refuse to look it up.)
... Goats, on the other hand, do produce milk. But Reese revealed that she isn't into the whole "milking goats" thing. In fact, she called the animals "worthless." Hey, you've got to draw the line somewhere. For us, it's with donkeys; for Reese, it's with goats.
