TVR Awards -- The Most Ridiculously Excessive 'Real Housewives' Throwdowns of the Year (VIDEO)

Oh, the ladies of the 'Real Housewives' franchise. They're equal parts obnoxious and engrossing, riveting and ridiculous. Though we're somewhat embarrassed to admit it, their spats and melodrama have turned into one of our guiltiest reality TV pleasures. So while it was tough to narrow down, we've culled together seven of the biggest meltdowns, blame-games and smack-downs of the year from across the various 'Housewives' incarnations. They're all excessive and outrageous, but which was the most eggregious and out-of-line? Watch the videos and vote below in our poll.

Teresa Chases Danielle, Danielle Suffers Hair Assault: We learned many things from the Danielle vs. Teresa (and Ashley) throwdown in the middle of the North Jersey Country Club. Teresa wanted Danielle to remember that she's from Paterson and lives in a $5 million home that she insists is not in foreclosure. She also reminded her nemesis that Danielle "beat somebody with a 9mm pistol" – while chasing her from room to room until Danielle cowered in a corner outside.

Ramona "Betrays" Jill When "Planet Kelly" Invades: Meanwhile, just across the Hudson River on 'The Real Housewives of New York City,' Ramona picked a fight with Kelly in the middle of Jill's big presentation. "I never ever expected Ramona to betray me like that. I mean she deliberately tried to sabotage my endorsement deal," said Jill. Really? Maybe she was simply running interference to keep "Planet Kelly" in check.

Lynda Dares to Insult Michaele on D.C. 'Housewives': In the middle of Paul's birthday party, Michaele had a bone to pick with Lynda. Didn't Lynda make a snide remark to Paul, intimating that she might have an eating disorder? Lynda was happy to revisit the scene: "He said to me, 'I'm dressing Michaele tomorrow.' I said, 'Great, while you're at it, feed her a burger and fries.' Michaele's husband, Tareq, defended his wife, while Lynda continued to unapologetically berate Michaele's unhealthy look.

Andy Cohen Is Tossed Like a Ragdoll on 'Jersey' Reunion Show: There was no need to mourn the end of 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' season 2, as the two-part reunion show offered plenty of drama. After Danielle insulted Teresa, Teresa bolted from the couch, stood over Danielle and repeatedly yelled, "Do not break up my family! You f---ing b----!" When host Andy Cohen tried to restrain her, she infamously pushed him off with a single, easy shove.

Camille's Dinner Party Implodes: On 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills,' Camille Grammer added a couple other guests to her dinner party "for interesting conversation." That included psychic Allison DuBois. Lisa asked for a demonstration; she refused. The attendees, including a former Playboy model, began yelling over each other, until Taylor stood up and said, "Enough! Enough! Enough! ... These are not the ladies that we are! Enough!"

Danielle Brings Hell's Angels Chums to a Charity Event: At a formal, pay-per-plate charity dinner on 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey,' Danielle thought it was perfectly reasonable to bring an entourage including an ex-con and a Hell's Angel. "I was asked by the family to come," she said. "I felt that I was within every right as an honored guest to gather people up." Of course, there was nowhere for them to sit, so the gang started threatening to trash the joint.

Danielle and Kim G. Trade Expletives in (and Outside) a Restaurant: It is so over between Danielle and Kim G. These two New Jersey 'Housewives' were good friends, until Kim blabbed about Danielle's search for her biological mom –- to nemesis Teresa, no less. Under the guise of dining together, Danielle confronted Kim and a profanity-laden fight ensued.
