What to Watch: December 27 - January 2

Desperate Housewives - Sunday January 2, 9PM ET/PT, CTV/ABCHow did I miss this? There was a riot on Wisteria Lane. An honest-to-goodness trampling, and it turns out I'm totally in touch with the mob mentality, because I also would have trampled straight for Susan. Check out the picture -- doesn't it look like Shawn Majumder turned up to help sqaush out the whining that is Susan? Awesome -- I support you Shawn! Anyhow, she's in hospital, but I have a feeling it won't be fatal. Meanwhile it looks like someone shot creepy Paul Young, and man-candy Brian Austin Green moves in with Bree.
Also This Week:
Canada AM - Tuesday December 28, 6AM ET, CTV
Bev and Seamus might be the only TV personalities reporting for work this week. Today they'll have a feature on throwing cheap New Year's Eve parties, which I'll be watching since someone I know ended up having to host one. There's also an interview with Sam Worthington, who doesn't strike me as the chattiest guy, but those cheekbones look pretty good in HD.
Turn the Beat Around - Saturday January 1, 8PM ET/PT, CTV
For all you 'SYTYCD Canada' fans out there, here's a New Year's treat. This movie about a dancer (Romina D'Ugo) was choreographed by Tre Armstrong. I won't get into the plot details -- suffice it to say there's a wealthy financier, two loves, and an ambitious choreographer -- but for dance fans, this is a nice way to start the new year.
