Oprah to Sarah Ferguson: 'I Better Not See You on 'Dancing With the Stars'

Sarah FergusonHoping to see Sarah Ferguson cut a rug on 'Dancing With the Stars'? Well, don't hold your breath. Why? Oprah Winfrey has spoken.

Money-strapped Ferguson, who will appear in 'Master Class: Finding Sarah' on Winfrey's new network OWN, was warned away from reality TV by the queen of daytime herself. You know, reality TV except on OWN.

In a new interview with Parade, Winfrey shined some light on how Ferguson ended up on OWN, and not some other network.

"Don't let me see you on 'Dancing with the Stars,'" Winfrey told Ferguson after interviewing her. "She started emailing me and at one point asked what did I think of her doing a celebrity chef show. And I said, 'That's not going to help you. How are you going to rehabilitate yourself on a celebrity chef show? You should be working on yourself.'"

Ferguson was filmed offering a reporter access to her ex-husband, Prince Andrew, for a hefty sum of money.

Once Winfrey shared her project idea with Ferguson, the talk show host said the Duchess of York was hesitant.

"'Let me think about it,'" Winfrey said Ferguson wrote to her. "'I'd have to expose myself, and what does that really mean?' I said, 'All the things in your e-mails are so fascinating.' Like, she sent me an e-mail about how it's so difficult to give up going to Spain this year. And I said, 'You have no money. People who don't have money don't go to Spain on holiday. Hello!'"

Am I the only one tired of hearing of Oprah and the rest of the talk show women? I don't know where they think they have so much wisdom. I won't watch any of them and I wish they were given less press and in place have someone/something worthwhile to read about.

What Oprah said to Sarah is the reason I love her! She is saying,,,"work on yourself, you matter!"
Hey, I've been there and am still there. It's hard to go from the top to the bottom, and it's painful. We all deserve a second chance at life, we all make mistakes, and truth be told, we all need to work on ourselves."
I know I certainly do, I am a complete mess and barely functioning, but I will keep taking one day at a time. My life will never be the same, but if I try very very hard I can have a life.

NO, I AM NOT WANTING OR TRYING TO BE ON OPRAH'S SHOW, JUST IN CASE YOU'RE WONDERING :O) I"m not in any shape to be on anyone's show!

I feel bad for Fergie.....when she got divorced, she only got about $30,000!!! What is wrong with this picuture????? She has to "work" for a living. NONE of the royalities "work", except for charity events. She should try to get some money from them, for her support. She is the MOTHER of the QUEENS grandchildren!!! Don't they have save "face'?? She has made some bad judgements and had some "bad" misbehaviour , so..........she should just move to Hollywood where that is the "norm". Their "morals" are NIL out there. Anything goes. They have babies out of wedlock, and then throw this big "white" wedding after about 2-3 kids together. She is a desparate women, and desparate people do desparate things.

The only person that should be doing a cooking show on Oprah's network is Oprah. And by the way, who is the chick on the front cover of "O" magazine every month. That certainly isn't Oprah........
