Chelsea Handler Jokes That Oprah Is a Lesbian (VIDEO)

So, what's in the news these days? Chelsea Handler has the scoop. On the new 'Chelsea Lately' (weeknights, 11PM ET on E!), Ms. Handler discussed the strange case of an Indian woman who was married for six months, only to learn that her "husband" was actually ... also a woman.

Chelsea being Chelsea, this somehow led to a discussion about Oprah Winfrey.

"This is Oprah's greatest fantasy!" the host said, referring to the idea that Oprah might secretly be a lesbian who prefers women to men. ... Ah ha ha ha! Ha ha! Whooo! No one has ever made a joke like this about Oprah before. ... Oh, right. Everyone has actually made this joke already. Still, it never hurts to go back to the classics.

Ms. Handler then referred back to the original story -- which, of course, involved the Indian woman who married a female "husband." The fraud was "exposed" when the wife walked in on her supposed husband in the bathroom, thus revealing that her man was actually a woman.

"You'd think if you were hiding a penis, you wouldn't be taking a bath!" Chelsea joked. Right. Okay, Chelsea, the point is that the woman in question wasn't hiding a penis, so your joke actually makes no sense whatsoever. Other than that, though ... good job?

Ahem. But no; we kid, we kid. In a story this confusing, a slight mix-up is understandable. ... But still, get some more current Oprah Winfrey material, maybe? Just a suggestion, Chelsea. We still love you.
