'Kendra's Assistant Comes Out to His Parents (VIDEO)

Kendra Wilkinson's personal assistant Eddie took one of the most difficult steps a gay person can take on 'Kendra' (Sun., 10PM on E!). He came out to his parents. An absolute wreck of nerves and anxieties going in, he had no idea what their reaction might be. It's one of the most fragile and vulnerable moments a person can experience.Luckily for Eddie, his parents were not only understanding, but had already figured it out. As he told Kendra later, his mother said, "I've been waiting for you to tell me."
She embraced her son after he finally came out to her and reminded him, "My love for you is unconditional."
Certainly not all coming out experiences are as positive and uplifting as Eddie's, but it is nice to see that at least in some cases, that unconditional love and support is there. Now Eddie won't have to go on carrying the burden of this secret, and can truly start to find who he wants to be.
We did take a devilish delight in how agonizingly he strung Kendra along as he was relaying the story to her afterward. He'd already had his happy ending, but he kept her dangling on the end of his string, chanting "Oh my god!" over and over again until he finally broke and confirmed that it was all okay.
