Jennifer Connelly Compares Pregnancy Sickness to Cell Phone Service on 'Late Night' (VIDEO)

While she was clearly showing, David Letterman was still nervous to come out and ask Jennifer Connelly if she was pregnant on 'Late Show' (Weeknights, 11:35PM on CBS). It's usually better safe than sorry on that one. If there's even an inkling of uncertainty that a woman is pregnant, you don't say anything. Sure, this one was announced in mid-December, but does that really mean anything?

Most pregnant women have their pregnancy cravings, and it looks like Connelly's was pretzels and cream cheese early on. She also made a rather unique comparison when discussing her "morning sickness."

"It was ... like cell phone service sketchy," she said. "You know how you have your cell phone service and you have to stand in one spot. I have to stand in one spot in my apartment to make a phone call. It was like that with nausea."

To make matters worse, the only safe spot to stand was in front of the open refrigerator. We think the pretzels and cream cheese at that point was more a matter of, "Well, as long as I'm here."
