Laura PreponLoved Laura Prepon on Monday night's 'Castle'? Good, because you're going to see a lot more from her in 2011.

When we spoke with Prepon before Christmas, she said that in addition to starring in the ABC pilot 'Awkward Situations for Men,' she just sold her successful web series, 'Neighbros,' as a half-hour scripted comedy to an as-yet-unnamed network.

"[It's] really, really exciting because I'll be able to direct the pilot," she said of the show, which stars Scott Michael Foster of 'Greek' and Jamie Jorn. "We created it. I'm so excited about it because we worked so hard on that web series it's ridiculous."

Though she doesn't appear on camera, Prepon's got a hand in pretty much every other aspect of 'Neighbros.' "I was the one-woman crew on it," she said. "I direct and I edit it, and if I'm lucky one of my friends will hold a boom mic for me. Other than that it's me and the two leads."

Also in the works? The aforementioned 'Awkward Situations' -- "We're currently in the process of re-shooting the pilot because they wanted to tweak a couple of things" -- and a feature-length comedy script she plans to direct.

"Besides my acting, I've been wanting to direct for close to 10 years. I do short films. I'm actually in the process of selling a script that I wrote, which is a comedy I'm going to direct. There's a lot going on. I'm really excited because I have so many aspirations outside of just acting, and you've just gotta do it. You know what I mean? You've gotta make it happen."

Prepon's the first to admit that 2011 is going to be a busy year, but she's looking forward to it. "I'm excited about it! It's going to be really good," she said. "I'm really fortunate. I really am."
