'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' Season 3, Episode 13 Recap

['The Real Housewives of Atlanta' - 'Tour-Ture']Kandi and Kim, 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta'

Phaedra might actually need to write a book on country rituals. First the coin-on-bellybutton thing, now the answer to her New York 'Real Housewives' counterparts' step-and-repeat: The sip-and-see. What's next?

Her (kind of) heart-to-heart with Kim was rather unexpected. She was even kind enough to lure her out of her own post-baby celebration (or coronation, as Dwight would have it) with the promise of a cigarette break.

Kandi's tour manager was definitely not as receptive to even the mere idea of Kim, let alone her particular attitudes to trailer bunks, smoking breaks or that whole Big Poppa ... thing. Brielle's crying seemed a little over-the-top ... how long is this tour, anyway?

Even though they experienced some rumblings of trouble in past episodes, Cynthia and Peter are now getting into one explosive money conflict. By the way, when did actor-author Hill Harper become a marriage counselor?

Is Cynthia in the wrong for her comments about getting some kind of return on her investment? It appears her concern was about financing the wedding, so her thoughts about selling are probably justified, right? Or is she just not becoming one with the whole "for better or for worse" deal?

Good on NeNe for recognizing her interview was failing on take-off, yet pushing on regardless. She could have become intimidated by the coldness of Jermaine Dupri's one-word answers. She didn't let any ego get in the way. She had faith there was something to be gotten and, mostly, got it. Except the Janet Jackson thing.

We never really got a clear explanation of what Apollo's prison time was for, exactly ... was it a sentence served because, as Phaedra says, his lawyer was sub-par? What was his car-theft comment about? That he didn't commit the crime, or that he can't overcome the image of being a thief or felon in other peoples' eyes?

Kim seemed comfortable on-stage despite her refusal of choreography. Kandi was probably relieved something didn't go horribly wrong, as in boos or *crickets.* The wigged one's only weaknesses she can't finesse her way out of seem to be cigarettes and the other booze. "Sip and See" might actually be an apt title for a Kim Zolciak book. Hope that bus driver didn't liquor up before his shifts ...

Kroy certainly had her number with his pre-show gift. A sign of things to come, which is more than can be said for next week's teaser. NeNe and Kim are at it again? I suppose it wouldn't be a complete season without one of their dust-ups.

'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' airs Sundays, 10 PM ET on Bravo.

i've heard of a sip and see, but i don't remember it being called that. it's a thing where people come over to look at the newborn baby, but idk about bellinis and mimosas.

about Hill Harper, it makes sense... he was only an actor because that's what his parents pursued for him as a child. his mother is a psychiatrist and he has three degrees, two of which are from Harvard. he has been counseling people for over 5 years now and has three books, which all started from, as he stated on the show, conversations about relationships.

i don't know about Cynthia and Peter now. the more that unfolds, the more i find him a terrible future husband.
