Elizabeth Mitchell: Watch 'V' for the Beautiful People and Fun (VIDEO)

Need a reason to start watching the remake of 'V' on ABC? One of its stars, Elizabeth Mitchell, went on 'Good Morning America' (Weekdays, 7AM on ABC) this morning to persuade you.

And if you were hoping she'd say something about how well it compares to the original Kenneth Johnson-created series, or how it's the best sci-fi show on TV, well, she was a bit more honest and modest in her appraisement.

After discussing her role on 'Lost,' Mitchell was asked why people should watch 'V.' She answered with a kind of golly-gee-gosh enthusiasm. "Cuz it's really fun," she said, "and there's lots of beautiful guys on it... and women! I don't know. It's great fun. It's a popcorn show. It's nice to lose yourself every once in awhile."

You probably won't see that review quoted in the commercials. But it might make you more likely to tune in, once you've got your snacks settled.
