'Greek' Season 4, Episode 2 Recap
['Greek' - 'Fools Rush In']It's Rush Week at Cyprus Rhodes! And with the semester officially starting, everyone seems to be finding their new roles within the Greek system.
We left last week with Rusty bowing out of the running for KT president in favor of Cappie. This episode, Rusty was announced as the new rush chair (a step above his former gig as pledge educator), and he decided to take the role seriously and actually try this semester, something unheard of by the other KTs.
Meanwhile, pledge educator Tegan came to make sure new ZBZ president Rebecca was abiding by the new rules and even Dale decided to rush a fraternity.
Casey officially started law school at CRU with Evan alongside her, but there seemed to be something missing from her life. Ah, yes, being Ms. ZBZ. Casey, unable to find an apartment on such short notice, was forced to sleep on the couch at Rusty's, leading to some awkward moments when Rusty's girlfriend Dana spent the night.
In an attempt to stay away as much as possible, Casey decided to stop by the house, where Rebecca was threatening to crack under Tegan's pressure. She then stepped in as the temporary house mom since Rebecca never hired one. As usual, Casey saved the day by giving the stubborn Rebecca some sage advice and became permanent housemom for the rest of the semester at Tegan's suggestion.
Rusty's efforts to mess with the KT's "karmic synergy" by making an effort to recruit pledges was wholly thwarted. They were too late to sign up for rush activities and their booth at the Greek festival was fried by the sprinkler system. Inspired by Cappie, Rusty decided to give it one last, honest try at the annual KT Underground Party which was busted by the cops. As punishment, the IntraFraternity Council banned the KTs from having pledges this semester.
Calvin still seemed to be under pressure from the other Omega Chis for tricking them into voting for him, with Evan being the most upset of all. When the brothers began to question Calvin, he offered them a sincere apology, but they still planned on impeaching him immediately after rush. At a post-rush party at Dobbler's Calvin told Evan that he resigned to save himself from embarrassment.
Meanwhile, Dale felt his college experiences has been mediocre due to his lack of ability to meet girls. After considering different groups on campus to meet the future Mrs. Kettlewell, Dale decided to rush a fraternity to make himself more appealing to the fairer sex. During an awkward chat with the future Omega Chi president, Dale told him that he was the one who revealed the plot between Calvin and the KTs, making him a much more interesting candidate. We later found out that it was Dale who called the cops and was now rushing Omega Chi.
Only time will tell until that one's out of the bag ...
'Greek' airs Mondays at 9PM ET on ABC Family.
