An Admitted Lack of Chemistry Ends a Date Abruptly on 'Millionaire Matchmaker' (VIDEO)

by Jason Hughes, posted Jan 12th 2011 3:37AM
'The Millionaire Matchmaker'Honesty is always the best policy, right? Maybe that depends on your intended result. It may have gone perfectly to play for the guy in this date from 'The Millionaire Matchmaker' (Tue., 9PM on Bravo).

"You know how you have to have chemistry when you're on a date?" he said abruptly in the middle of the date, between bites of his hamburger. "I don't know if I'm feeling it."

She asked him why he would just bring that up and he said he was just giving his read of the situation. "Not in a bad way." He was, however, feeling that fine cuisine, as he kept shoveling burger and fries into his mouth.

On the woman's side of the table, she was taking massive mouthfuls of salad, so neither of them were looking necessarily their best. When he told her he wouldn't just get up and leave in the middle of a date, she did.

It looks to us like he got the win. He got to ditch a girl he wasn't feeling any connection to without having to come up with some lame excuse, and then he got to finish his obviously fantastic meal in peace and quiet. If he wanted, he could go ahead and finish hers as well.

Talking about one or the others eating habits is moot. They both act as if they have not eaten in a week and can't have a conversation without stuffing food into their mouths. What a lack of manners of both of their parts. As far as what happened here, am I to gather from the female perspective that if I'm not interested in who I am with I am just to keep my mouth shut and fake it through dinner, have sex, then go home? At what point are we men supposed to be honest? Isn't that what we are alway's scorned for, lack of honesty? Now this guy has it and he is beaten down for it. All you women out there might want to release a rulebook for us guys because if we're not honest we're idiots, and when we are, well, we're idiots then too. We just don't understand ladies.

Ok lets see the guy is an ahole for being honest. Hmmm that makes sense. He didn't put her down in anyway, didn't say she was mean, ugly, rude anything. Just said he wasn't feeling a connection and he becomes an ahole for that?!? Some of you even want to slam the salad in his face?? Geez might want to check yourselves and your own maturity level if this minimal level of honestly still doesn't fit into your lifestyle.

If you don't have chemistry, don't go out with them. Period.

Kudos to her for leaving that jerk to finish his fries! I would be concerned about any woman who felt any "chemistry" with that guy, or any woman with whom he felt any "chemistry".

Ditto to IMOONDANCE. That guy was a d...! She is rather desperate. She must have had some sort of a "feeling"about the guy brfore she even went out. Him too for that matter.

So I totally get what he was saying. That woman Stacy makes me sick to my stomach. It was mentioned the way the guy eats, but did you see the way she eats? YIKES!!!! Even more then that did you see her previous episode of the millionair matchmaker? She is not good people. She needs some help. She has enough money to take some class classes. Not sure if it would help her. I'm just saying my side of the street on this situation gives both thumbs up to the guy RE: the rich crazy B$tch!.

Well this Stacy started the date showing him movies of her modeling and so on. She is so arrogant. What a stupid thing to do on a first date! And yes, she was shoving the food into her mouth. No manners. Good for him for saying there was no chemistry. She's really undatable.
