Larry King Returns to TV, Mischa Barton Wants On 'DWTS' and More

Well, that didn't take long. Weeks after ending his long-running CNN show, Larry King has booked another TV gig.It's not what you'd expect, though. According to TV Guide, the newsman has booked a cameo as himself on the ABC sitcom 'Better With You.'
King will shoot the guest spot next week, and the episode is scheduled to air in March.

• The latest on board the 'Dancing With the Stars' rumor train: Mischa Barton. According to a source, "Mischa watches the show religiously, and she thinks she can hold her own and maybe even win it. She likes the idea of being on a top-rated show, too." [Perez Hilton]

• The college football Tostitos Bowl Championship Series (BCS) was the most-watched cable program ever. More than 27 million viewers tuned in to ESPN as the Auburn Tigers beat the Oregon Ducks for the national title. [EW]
• 'Mad Men' creator Matthew Weiner is pleased that Northwestern University is offering a course based on his show. "I'm thrilled that it's being taken so seriously, but I have to admit I'm surprised.
