A 'Charlie's Angels' remake is a go -- sort of. ABC has officially ordered 'Charlie's Angels' to pilot.According to Entertainment Weekly, the new series from 'Smallville' writer-producers Miles Millar and Al Gough will be set in Miami. 'Gossip Girl' veteran Mark Piznarski is being courted to direct.
Robert Wagner of 'Hart to Hart' and 'Austin Powers' fame is in talks to voice the unseen Charlie. According to Vulture, the 81-year-old actor had a deal with the late Aaron Spelling and received a stake in the 'Charlie's Angels' franchise, so him taking part in the new series seems to be part of the deal.
Producers Leonard Goldberg, Drew Barrymore and Nancy Juvonen have begun casting the Angels. Back when the project was in early stages we decided to help them out and assemble our dream cast, so feel free to leave more suggestions.
Tell us: Are you excited for a new 'Charlie's Angels'?
