The "iHoda Playlist" segment on 'Today' (Weekdays, 7AM on NBC) is supposed to be a karaoke singalong featuring Hoda's favorite songs. But when Jimmy Fallon subbed for Kathie Lee Gifford today, he turned it into something else entirely.Hoda introduced the song 'Who Dat Girl' by Flo Rida featuring Akon. But when she began awkwardly dancing to the song, shaking her hands up and down and snapping her fingers, Fallon couldn't help himself.
Fallon cracked up and mimmicked her seated snapping, asking "Are we going to get into 'West Side Story?'" He then launched into the 'Jet Song' from that musical, singing, "Once you're a Jet, you're a Jet all the way..." and got out of his chair and broke out some Jerome Robbins-influenced choreography.
He made it back to the desk in time for the chorus of the Flo Rida song, but by then Hoda had lost the thread completely.
