Robert Downey, Jr. really loved the nominees for Best Actress, Musical or Comedy at 'The 68th Annual Golden Globe Awards' (Sun., 8PM on NBC). In fact, he was baffled that they'd each turned in such "exquisite performances without a shred of help" from him.Downey presented us with his theory for success in Hollywood for women. "I don't know if an actress can do her best work until I've slept with her," he posited. He then went on to address the five nominated women individually.
When he reached the 22-year-old Emma Stone, nominated for her role in 'Easy A,' he tread more carefully. "Now, I'm not trying to creep anyone out, but where's Emma?" he said, singling her out in the audience. "I think I got something for us. It's kind of like a 'Blue Valentine' thing but not age appropriate."
He then cleverly suggested he would "give it to all five of you, at once, right here, in front of my wife, the audience and millions of viewers."
It, of course, being the Golden Globe. What were you thinking he meant?
