Former 'American Idol' Contestant Alex Lambert Is Homeless ('Kinda,' Maybe)

'American Idol' season 9 semi-finalist Alex Lambert is now homeless and living on the street, according to his Twitter account.
If we're to believe the unverified "TrueAlexLambert" is indeed the mullet-sporting Texas crooner, he's fallen on some pretty hard times after appearing on the web series 'If I Can Dream,' which was created by 'Idol' executive producer Simon Fuller.
"Ever since IICD ended I've been kinda homless! Sleepin on the street and behind buildings. I have a choice to stay and persue my career or go," tweeted @TrueAlexLambert.
As for his ability to Tweet while living on the streets ("kinda"), Lambert explained, "I've been goin to coffee shops and other stores so I can tweet to my snaf! Because to be honest! You guys are all I really have!"
Then again, Lambert may have been exaggerating, as he later followed up with theseupdates: "I've had so much help out here in LA! I just want oto do things on my own! I have places to stay I just don't want to be a burden on anyone!;"
"I have money! And soon I will have a place to stay! I just wanted to let yall know! I'm not some rich spoiled kid! That I've had to hustle ... and grind and I don't mind sleepin on the street as long as I get my chance! Because I will not take it for granted! I hope yall understand."
Whether Lambert -- who worked with a number of charities since leaving 'Idol' -- is actually in need of a little charity himself, remains to be seen.
