'Greek' Season 4, Episode 3 Recap

Greek['Greek' - 'Cross Examined Life']
Casey began her first day of classes bright eyed and bushy-tailed as usual. But in case the thought hadn't crossed your mind -- did you ever wonder how a full-fledged sorostitute like Casey Cartwright could ever be taken seriously in law school? That's right. She can't. In a storyline plucked straight from 'Legally Blonde,' Casey was ridiculed on her first day after she accidentally outed herself as the girl who got in due to a technicality. Bad move, Cartwright.
Like our favorite Harvard Law student, Casey was shunned from study groups and her ex didn't even try to stand up for her. Rude! Casey then went to complain to the professor. Seriously? The prof told her to grow a pair (well, not in those words exactly). Thank goodness ... Casey really needs to stop being so whiny and hiding herself in the home she's made for herself in ZBZ.

Meanwhile, Ashleigh showed up unannounced at the ZBZ house because she hated living in the real world. Wah. Instead she acted like a college student, but one with no classes, so really, the best kind of college student. She then tried to convince Casey to run away with her, but Casey, surprisingly, grew a pair and realized she shouldn't run away from her problems but face them head on.

As for the underclassmen, Rusty found out Dale was pledging Omega Chi and somehow convinced himself that this puts Dale in an unfortunate situation. Because, really, who would want to pledge the best fraternity on campus? Rusty told Dale that he thought they were using him as revenge for his spring break prank and Dale didn't have the heart to tell Rusty that it was really because he sold out the KTs.

We ended the episode with another return of a familiar face. Katherine was back and harsh as ever. I momentarily wondered why she would drop out of Yale Law in favor of CRU, but then I remembered that this is a television show where logic doesn't really apply.

Greek airs Mondays at 9PM ET on ABC Family.

I agree with the poster before me. And wow harsh review much? Seriously you skipped some of the biggest parts of the episode.

We see Calvin and Cappie get high in there attempts to figure out the meaning on life for a class project but Calvin who always seems like he's got his act together is struggling with declaring a Major for fear of picking something he realizes he hates in the future, which in turn makes Cappie realize you have to pick something before it's to late.

Meanwhile a determined Rusty tries to get Dale to really join Kappa Tau even to the lengths of faking a legacy uncle and kidnapping Dale. While Rusty is so preoccupied with this he has failed to try and even get to know Kappa Taus only pledge Peter Parkes (ie Pledge Spidey). A very fed up Pledge Spidey goes off on Rusty when he leaves him behind at the Omega Chi house after kidnapping Dale, leaving the Omega Chis to ducktape the poor pledge to a wall, claiming he's so preoccupied with getting Dale out of Omega Chi he doesn't realize Dale really wants to be there and that he, Spidey always wanted to be a Kappa Tau even if he wasn't a legacy. Rusty is surprisied by his outburst and soon learns Petter like himself in a Honor Egineering Major, Rusty seeing himself in the young pledge helps him down and promises to make up for what he's done. Rusty also then comes to terms with Dale being in Omega Chi and admits that he's happy for him and the two rebond over getting permanet marker off there face, Dale for not resisting the kidnapping and Rusty for putting shaving cream on Beaver.

And once again Dale has yet to be confirmed as the person who called the cops on the KT's.

Wow, hate to say it but really lazy review. 5 paragraphs. And a break betwen 2 of them doesn't count as more words. Not even worth my time reading. No mention of the geek party? Cappy and Calvin trying to find out the meaning of life by smoking pot (that wasn't shown, but the effects were there)? Care to expand on the points you did touch on? I take it you barely watched this ep.
