Jovany Barreto's 'American Idol'/Strip Tease Audition for J.Lo (VIDEO)

by Elizabeth Chan, posted Jan 20th 2011 10:25PM

The last time we checked, the show was 'American Idol' not 'America Idolizes J.Lo.' It's obvious that this season is going to be filled with your run of the mill 'Idol' hopefuls -- and apparently J.Lo stalkers.

Jovany Barreto knows the way to J.Lo's heart is through ... HIS STOMACH?

Not only did he serenade Mrs. Marc Anthony with Spanish ballads, but he also showed his devotion by presenting her with his six pack.

It was buy one six pack, get two free -- as both Steven Tyler and Randy Jackson decided to show their guts to J.Lo.

'American Idol' airs Wednesdays and Thursdays at 8PM ET on Fox.

Contestants should be able to bring their own arrangement with them on tape. People get nervous and tend to sing off key because they have no music or beat to follow. Put all three judges up there one by one and have them sing a song and see what the hell they sound like, lol. Who watches American Idol anymore anyway? lol.

I think I may find this season of American Idol very difficult to continue watching if the "talent" they end up selecting is anything like the people in New Jersey they gave passes to Hollywood. Some of them barely could stay in tune and yet they were sent on to Hollywood. Also, I really don't care for the format we're seeing. EVERYONE has a back story; but when we are shown stories on certain people that are designed to be heartt wrenching, most of us realize that it is being done to garner potential votes for that particular person. Most unfair to the other contestants who make it through. And here I thought American Idol was supposed to be based on talent.

I dunno. Seems IDOL handlers have put more action into the show. As an elder, I think I would not tune in this season, but I should give the program a chance and, forgetting, watch it this season. Was a regular of the first shows, most of them, enjoying them, selecting a favorite and digging Simon and his cohorts. Maybe the new IDOL will bring higher ratings.

I love American Idol and have been watching it for years. I enjoy watching truly talented people trying their best to succeed in making their dreams come true. Since Steven Tyler is a singer, musician and songwriter, I absolutely feel he's a great person to be a judge on the show. He brings something to the show and can bring an audience to a roar just by singing with no musical instruments or synthesizers behind him. I've seen him live on many many occasions. JLO on the other hand started in a TV show years and years ago that not very many people know about and the show never made it, matter of fact Selena is what set up her popularity. She's gotta go. Take away the sound effects and all the dancing and she can't carry an entire show on her own. She's too soft and it's super easy to see that she's not thinking with her supposed "musical talent" but with her heart. I'm looking forward to seeing if the new judges can scrutinize a bit more and boot some of the auditioners who sound like so many people who are already making songs. As far as Randy.............what can you say? He knows his stuff when he hears it. Anybody notice how on occasion he listens to an auditioner with his eyes closed?

I'M AFRAID "IDOL" WILL SORELY MISS HAVING A JUDGE WHO WILL BE A LITTLE REALISTIC IN CUTTING ACTS THAT ARE NOT UP TO PAR. SEEMS LIKE IF THE PERFORMER COMPLIMENTS A JUDGE...THEY WILL GET THROUGH. NO SPARK LEFT IN THIS SHOW AND WILL WATCH IT MAYBE ONCE OR TWICE MORE THEN SWITCH CHANNELS....

I am very disappointed in AI. I don't like either JLo or Tyler as judges...their music I like. The only one who stood out last night was the last contestant, Paris. She did make me cry. They others all sounded alike. Perhaps with time Paris could be excellent....she was probably nervous last night and even then sounded better than most. The auditions are too long...they should do a lot of them off camera and just broadcast the most interesting ones.

The show is great ,,, With the main man Steven Tyler makes the show extra exciting ,Cause you never know whats going to come out of his mouth and he's very funny at it ..... Jennifer - Lopez she is so beautiful and funny with a good heart too .... As for the Dawg he still makes it a great show ..... As for the kids this is stuff that they see or hear in school ... Do you parents being that age group and the things you learn on the streets and in school, Do you think school has change any ?? .... its all things you grew up and learn when you was a kid ... So all you parents, Dont act so innocent ... My kids never heard or said that or seen that before , Yes your right !!!! Not in front of you .... But behind your back , They seen and heard it all by the age of 10 ..... Its not the 1950's or the 1960's no more .... Its 2011, if you dont like the show , You have the freedom to change the channel ... Keep up the good work
