Got Questions? Leave Your TV Queries Here

by Maureen Ryan, posted Jan 24th 2011 1:15PM
It's been far too long since we've done an Ask Mo session. I'm betting you've got a lot of questions about what's going on and what's to come in the TV realm. Please leave your questions in the comment area below.

I'll answer as many questions as I can in an upcoming Ask Mo column, and Ryan McGee and I will also try to answer a few in this week's Talking TV with Ryan and Ryan podcast, which is likely to go live Wednesday.

If you'd rather shoot me a question via email, feel free to do so here.

By the way, previous Ask Mo columns are here, here, here, here and here. Fair warning: If your question was addressed in a previous column, I probably won't take it on in the next Ask Mo session.

Thanks much for your questions!

What do you think of the new mathew perry sitcom on abc, mr sunshine? it looks almost like a 30rock-type premise with a sex-reversal for the two starring roles. the fact that its temporarily replacing cougar town kind of earns it some misplaced ill-will going in though...

I know being a TV critic you have to focus on what's new out there in TV land but when you get time - What are your most Rewatchable shows? Mine are Arrested Development, Community and Parks and Rec because there are so many things going on I notice something new every time.

Also if you had to pick only ONE TV show you could watch and all others would magically erase from your DVR what would that show be.

Why do some shows like Dexter focus so much on it's supporting cast? Dexter is such a fascinating character, but his supporting cast rarely has anything interesting to do and usually end up taking away time we could be spending with Dexter. Why do the producers/writers keep all these characters if they don't add anything? Is there a large fanbase of Masuka F-plot lovers? Is there some sort of story balance reason that makes these characters essential that I'm missing?

Thanks!

Isn't the ABC show Castle just a twin of what FOX's Bones is about?

Why don't we see people watch TV on TV? Is it because people who watch TV are losers without a life?
