Colbert Asks Charlie Rose About 'Interviewgasms' and All His Pauses (VIDEO)

When Charlie Rose visited 'The Colbert Report' (weeknights, 11:30PM ET on COM), Stephen Colbert fashioned the setting after Rose's interview show, darkening the stage save for a spotlight on the two men. He also questioned the PBS journalist's interviewing style.

"Are you really that intrigued in [the guests], or are you faking an interviewgasm?" asked the host. Rose answered, "I've had some interviewgasms," to which Colbert joked: "Did PBS broadcast those? Because that would be great for the pledge drive."


He then mimicked Rose, asking, "Why do you sometimes... pause before words that don't seem that... hard... to think of?" Rose replied, "Because... I do not know... what question I'm gonna ask."
