A week ago, Stephen Colbert offered his analysis of how he thinks 'Morning Joe''s Mika Brzezinski feels about Sarah Palin. Tonight on 'The Colbert Report' (Weeknights, 11:30PM on Comedy Central), he suspected this was the reason "BigHollywood.com" has a new poll up on their site to see if he is the worst violator of the so-called "new tone" in the media.

At the time, Colbert said, "I know you think she has nothing to offer the national dialogue and that her speeches are just coded talking points mixed in with words picked up at random from a thesaurus," and that her reality show was "the pinnacle of her potential."

Now, he sought to clarify his true thoughts on Palin. "I believe Sarah Palin is a true statesman," Colbert said. "Whose experience as a failed vice presidential candidate, half-term governor and eight-episode reality show star has fully prepared her to take control of our nuclear arsenal."
